I wish I could be inside each one of my little ones for a day, just to see the world, understand more, and even take a better look at myself in order to be a patient, kinder mother. January, january. Cabin fever has hit us, though we've managed to have some great playdates and be creative. Since we're in the middle of selling our house, the kids' toys are diminished and their mom is often running around picking up (so this it what it feels like to keep a clean house:)). I've started calling the trips out when the house is being shown "rocket runs" to try to make it an adventure.
Wilson is full-on being four. Rockets, superheros, running around, climbing, potty talk, testing limits, writing words, talking about being a boy, and caring for his little sister. Jane earns her nickname "calamity Jane" with her frequent tumbles. It seems no week (or day) is complete without a busted lip, bruised cheek, head bump or the like. The girl is fearless.
