I love Spanish for the way words somehow seem more layered than in English. La red means web in spanish, and is also used for network, as in a community organization advocating for a goal. I discovered my own webs a few mornings ago, in the early dawn, before they were blown away. It made me meditate on interconnectedness and how fragile yet miraculous and strong our human bonds are. Here's to change that will weave us together again as a people.
