First Art Opening

Wil accompanied Mom and Dad to the opening of Penny Sisto's exhibit of quilts depicting slavery. In between the powerful images of suffering and survival, Wil was transfixed by the bright colors and all the faces.

He was struck by one face in particular. That of Annie, Penny's granddaughter.

We adore Penny's work and spirit. If you would like to see her work, visit the Carnegie Center in New Albany, Indiana where it is showing until April 15, or visit her website at www.pennysisto.com.
