After a long second day back at work, I was thrilled to get to snuggle with Wil and was even joined by our often-ornery cat Hank. It is also Hank's first appearance in the blog, so that is noteworthy. We've transitioned quite well to me being back at work, especially since John will be home with Wil for the next eight weeks. It's all about trying to find this magical balance, and I take it day by day but my lovely son and kind partner make it all seem possible.

Gretchen, I like the shorter hair style. If it's not something recent, I haven't noticed until now for some reason. Glad you made it through work. Glad to see Hank the cat. Look forward to seeing everyone next month!
