"Gee-Da's" Ranch

Saturday, the family made a trip to Grandpa Jim's ranch. Two things we learned while there: 1. Grandpa is pronounced "Gee-Da" and 2. Don't dare call a ranch a farm.

Have you ever seen a man as happy as Grandpa Jim in this photo?

And then, the appropriate bookend photo to document the trip.

Hop! Hop! Hop!

Yesterday Wil, Gretchen, Grandpa Larry, and John attended the Frankfort Avenue Easter Parade for the second year in a row. As you can see, Wil was thrilled to see the Easter Bunny.

He marveled at the fire engines in the parade.

Pat Day presided as the Marshal of the Parade (seated to Mr. Day's right is Margaret of Margaret's Consignment Shop).

The Gang ended the adventure at the Irish Rover. Grandpa Larry showed Wil the pictures of Ireland that decorate the walls of the pub.

Baby love

Wilson now gets to spend every Friday with Thurston and Jessica. Thurston has taught him, among other things, yoga poses (downward dog). Here they are last week.

Snowstruck

Here, at last, are snapshots of Wilson's love affair with our first real snow of 2007, if you can call it that. You can actually feel the glee (I think) in the picture of him swinging his legs in a half anow-angel. Let's hope for more snow!

Lola's Two! Birthday Bash at Art Sparks!

Wilson partyied hard at Art Sparks (http://www.speedmuseum.org/artsparks.html), walking up stairs, painting masterpieces, building with blocks, playing with a velcro wall, and enjoying the company of neighborhood pals, especially Lola (http://www.cheesemorecheese.blogspot.com/).

Chandra's Anatomy

Yes, we Louisvillians were recently graced by our Seattle-based ER doc (McDreamy? McSteamy?), Ritik. Witness him teaching Wilson how to stab, apparently a critical ER technique. Here's the crew (minus photographer John) after brunch at North End and before a brisk walk up Frankfort Ave.

Young Signs

The ever mysterious John...

Shirt/tummy/polar bear (Wilson has one shirt with a polar bear in front)

More (as in more cookies, crackers, Mommy, escalators, etc.)

And finally, all gone!
